How much did you pay for the LED setup, whered ya get?

A buddy (c_Healy) helped me build them. He did great work. If you go back to the first or second page of this thread, you can see step by step pictures of where he was building them. If you're interested, you should contact him.

Here's another couple of pieces I got from the Reef Raft USA live sale. This is a sunset rhodactus and and a martian favia frag.

The receipt:

RR SUNSET RHODACTUS and martian favia.jpg

$3.75 + $390.49 = $394.24 spent so far.

Here is the martian favia in the tank.

and here are a couple of pics of the sunset rhodactus.

Got a paly frag to add to this thing! These were bought in May after I started gearing up for this thing, but I wasn't sure whether or not to put them in the nano or leave them in the big reef. After looking at them for the last few days under the blues in my big tank, I decided they definitely glow enough to be added to the nano. This is the Red Fury Paly.

I got these from Mr. Coral at $8.50, so that counts as $4.25 towards my total bringing me to $398.49

Here's the receipt:

And here is the frag in the nano. It's a little more grown out after it's time in the big reef. :D

Here's one I bought back in the Joe Knows Reefs live sale. This was a $1 coral, so it only counts as $0.50 toward my limit. :D bringing me up to $398.99.

Here's the receipt.

And here they are in the tank.

Tonight I am adding one of the nicest pieces I have to the tank. I bought a nice multicolored green fungia in the Reef Raft USA live sale. It was supposed to be the one in the picture, but they had an issue with that one, and so they had to ship out a replacement...and I definitely think they upgraded it!! The replacement piece glows in multicolor!!!

Here is the receipt for the original.

RR CRAZY MULTI COLORFUNGIA.jpg

Here is Tony's email to me showing the issue and offer to replace it.

Here is replacement piece happily chilling in the nano!!!

Isn't this thing beautiful!? Lights the whole dang tank up!

LOL I got so excited about posting this piece that I forgot to give the spending total. This piece cost me $37.00 (of which half is counted toward budget). $18.50 + $398.99 = $417.49 total budget spent.

...and just wait till I get the crazy shipment from Rare Reef tomorrow!! Those guys have got some awesome stuff, so I'm excited to see what will be in that box! :D :D :D

Got 14 pieces from Rare Reef this morning!! Everything is still acclimating, but I'll post an unboxing video in a bit (just got to edit it first). I haven't turned lights on yet, but I'm stoked to see what came in this box. I'm already impressed with the packing job and the size of the frags! :) I'll be adding a few each day to the nano so be watching for updates. :D

Ok, guys, I'm home and getting some pics together as promised. :D Better late than never, right?

In the meantime, here's an unboxing video of the package.

It's mostly a teaser because you see the corals still in the bags, but it does show that Rare Reef went WAY beyond!!

Btw, here's the receipt for ALL 14 of these pieces!

Since Rare Reef is a sponsor, the $160 is only counted at 50%, so $80 + $417.49 brings us to $497.49. That means that after adding these 14 pieces, unless I can find a frag of something for $2.51, I have about maxed out my budget... Hmmm...can I find a frag for $2.51???
