Hello all,
One of the main things we as tankers and reefers overlook is the furniture and how we will hang our bright lights above our beautiful corals.
I wanted to provide an easy diy step process for making and doing just that!

**Materials and tools and cost. Some of this i had in my garage.**

-1/2" galvanized aka rigid conduit pipe
20ft. 2 sticks. $30
-1 hole clamps. 1/2" rigid $5
-screws FREE
-drill and small drill bit FREE
-pipe bender $100
-level FREE
-tape measure FREE

We will be doing all forward bends. Meaning we will take all measurements off the forward end or the end you just bent.

3/4" emt conduit and 1/2" rigid has a 6" offset. Meaning we will measure back 6" from our wanted measurement to achieve the measurement. Lol

*IMPORTANT* keep your weight or strength down on the foot and pedal. When bending its a pull, push with foot, and help pull the pipe over type of method. You get the feel hang for it after about 3 bends.

Take your time. 90 bends off a flat floor surface with a level is not hard but also take some 3d imagination work design to achieve overall look and function.

I screwed the pipe together here. Took measurement. Marked. Unscrewed and continued bending. I have a two piece light hanger that unscrews here.

The air bubble in the level.does not lie.
You can see here the pipe drifts away from the standing wall. Not 90. Or straight up and down. Which is what we want.

Some 90 degree angle bends on the floor. If the bend isnt perfect or to your liking. They made the heavy duty handle on the bender a hallow tube for flipping it over and doing corrections.

After your 1st bend or leg or initial bend ect. It just continues. Measure. Mark. Bend. Measure your tanks width and see what the measurement is for half of your light fixture. This is.probably where you will want your light to hang.

Edit* you will need a 24 tooth hacksaw to chop the leftover end that is not needed.

E.g. you might not need 20ft of pipe. Lol
I hope this helps someone. I didnt find it very hard but multiple trips to mclendons was no fun. Lol
