Gave away a large bag of Chaeto today to a local guy. Hopefully he was pleased with the amount!

I used double sided tape, that’s it! When I had the t5 fixture on the 8020 it was firm!
Hey Pelphrey, I’ve been following the 250 tank for awhile now. I went ahead mimicked your light stand design, the one hang up I had was how you anchored the boards to the stand. This sort of answered it. I was trying to avoid drilling... I’m going to mount up my XR30/orphek 120 and two T5s. I have two bars instead of one hanging over the tank so the weight will be distributed for the 130/T5s. Did you use gorilla doubleside or a 3M product?

I simply used 3m. I’ve had kessils and the aquatica life with Kessil’s and now radions on it with no issues. I do have some rubber matting between the aluminum and my glass at the top to prevent it from Touching the glass.

Phosphates coming down. Put fresh carbon and rowaphos in the reactor last weekend. Also chilled out on my feeding. I think the massive feedings and test schedule was part of the elevated phosphates.

Monday, Wednesday and Saturday OR Sunday

Frozen Cube (assorted)
Splash Phyto
Splash RedSea Reef Energy Plus
Splash Acro Power
Pinch Benereef
Selcon
Two Drops Brightwell Aminos
One Drop Brightwell Iodine (Once a week)

Funny, I never noticed how much cave was under that structure. I think of all the recent changes you've made flow improvements IMO are the key to towards the upward trend.

I think it helped out a lot!!!! Less messing around more focused! Possibly the most focused I’ve been yet! Thanks for all of your help!

Nice tank and progession, did raising the sump light make the screw-rust situation any better?
I wonder if a small glob of silicone would protect them

Raising it helped for sure, but I swapped out the original hardware. I thought about silicone, was just worried about the heat. But silicone may very well work!
