Hey Pelphrey, I’ve been following the 250 tank for awhile now. I went ahead mimicked your light stand design, the one hang up I had was how you anchored the boards to the stand. This sort of answered it. I was trying to avoid drilling... I’m going to mount up my XR30/orphek 120 and two T5s. I have two bars instead of one hanging over the tank so the weight will be distributed for the 130/T5s. Did you use gorilla doubleside or a 3M product?I used double sided tape, that’s it! When I had the t5 fixture on the 8020 it was firm!
Without your help I wouldn’t be here! Thank you!!!Loads of good stuff since I checked in here last, Great work!
Corals look great!
Funny, I never noticed how much cave was under that structure. I think of all the recent changes you've made flow improvements IMO are the key to towards the upward trend.
Raising it helped for sure, but I swapped out the original hardware. I thought about silicone, was just worried about the heat. But silicone may very well work!Nice tank and progession, did raising the sump light make the screw-rust situation any better?
I wonder if a small glob of silicone would protect them
