Big shoutout to @Crystal Reef Aquatics for providing the new sump and ATO container for the RedSea Reefer 250! Top notch work on both, need to order a few parts before I can get them installed!

Me toooo!!! It’s always hard to imagine the craftsmanship even when seeing pictures. The refugium area is niceeee!

Looks awesome!

They really did a great job designing and building their products!

I'm glad it arrived! Looking forward to seeing it set up!

Packaged extremely well!!! The sump is what I would call semi crated, I didn’t expect to see the plywood! Can’t wait to do the swap!

This is going to be tricky, I know I need some more soft tubing. I've had some time to think about anything else I may need. I am sure I'll figure that out on the day I so the swap! hahaha

Preparation begins! Pull out skimmer tomorrow and run in vinegar, pull out carbon reactor and pump. All that’s left is the COR20, Tunze sensors and media in the sump. The RedSea plumbing always makes me nervous, so that will be the most difficult part.

Just skimmed your thread Pelphrey nice work! I'm sure you mentioned it but how did you mount/stabilize your 80/20? I have two Radion XR30s and I may end up getting an Aquatic Life fixture. 80/20 would work perfectly in my case.

I mounted the 8020 to a board I can slide in and out. I didn’t want to mount to tank stand and make it impossible to get out. I’ll have to see if I can find a video or picture. Sorry for the delayed response.

Good luck with the swap! Btw, I have Siporax in my overflow as well, except I used a 20lb fishing line and threaded 4 lines the height of the box and connected them up top and bottom, was able to fit their entire box full that way with minimal footprint.
