Team Low Tech Reefing! Simple and stable.

That's right! The jebao equipment is so quiet, it's amazing the different sides to reefing. Super expensive or super cheap! haha

Hi Pelphrey - I’m glad you are sticking with it. I’ve lurked this site for a while, but joined to post a “thank you” for your honest, blow by blow experience.

We have 4 freshwater tanks (tropical, goldfish, cichlids, piranhas) and are now making the leap to reef. Following your voyage has been very helpful

Thank you for the kind words!!! Glad to see you on Reef2reef and I hope you start a build thread to document your process! If you do share that with me so that I can follow along as well.

Overload on photos! Overall the tank is doing well with the super ultra simple method! Plus I’m really enjoying it with how simple it is! Jabeo wave maker is starting to turn purple, which is pretty common in this tank!

No need to use a heater for water changes in the summer!

Get rid of that star fish. I left mine in bc everyone thought it was cute. Next thing I know I had a huge infestation with hundreds. Had to pick them out over months

I pull them out when I see them, hard to win against the population I have.. or can see any way!

Nice tank. Asterina needs to go. I don't trust even a 1/2 of one

Haha They don’t bother anything in my tank. I do pull them out when they are close to the top!

Looking good! Get some test results and keep an eye on those nutrient levels!

I REALLY need to test. I lost all of my test results when I sold my apex. I have no clue where I’m at!
