Hey guys I'm fairly new to this and I've lost a whitetail bristletooth tang on Saturday. Today I lost a clown and a mandarin and I'm noticing a few other fish that look kinda like my blue tang. I QT everything with cupramine for 15 days, and usually run 2-3 prazi baths when I do water changes. Any help would be appreciated. The only fish that were added prior too were two wrasses about 2 weeks ago. I'm not sure if this is bacterial or what is going.

If fish has any disease, 15 days is not enough and allows parasites t to take hold the fish and reproduce
Prazi takes a couple of days to take effect and also not sufficient to safeguard the fish from potential issues
Run cupramine at .45 for 30 days and then apply Prazipro ay 85% of recommended dose for 8 days…. Do a water change and one more dose lasting 8 days and add air stone during treatment crazy reduces both oxygen and appetite

Okay, how is it that its taken almost two weeks for something to show up on my fish and start wiping them out though? Whether parasitic or bacterial?

The pics aren't super clear, but both fish seem to have marine ich, Cryptocaryon.

As mentioned, 15 days of Cupramine really isn't enough to fully break the life cycle of ich. Some tomonts (that aren't affected by copper) can rest in the tank bottom that long, and then release their daughter cells after the copper level is lowered. Cupramine is a bit harsh, so the tendency is to use for a shorter time. Rather, I prefer to use Coppersafe or Copper Power for a full 30 days.
