Wondering if this is Dino’s or cyano?
Parameters are:
Tank is 3 months old, 90 gal, I’m running carbon and a little 11w uv sterilizer I had lying around and carbon currently. Also dosing no3 to maintain 10 ppm. I feed fish 2 times a day( 1 cube and a pinch of pellets total) feed corals 3 times a week(broadcast ab+ and target feed reef roids)
Alk-8
Cal-450
Mg-1350
No3-10
Po4-.1
Temp-79
Ph-8.4

That looks like dinos to me.

If you're lucky that BS will go in to the water column at night, in which case treating with UV is fairly easy.

You can vacuum it out, but I would do it through a filter sock and return the tank water.

Thanks it does dissipate at night although not completely. I guess I’m buying a bigger uv. Would 27watt be enough for a 90 gal or should I go 40w

Many might tell you “bottom out” nutrients are the cause of Dino problems, however easy to see that is a myth. Your tank needs better maintenance. Weekly WC with scrubbing and blowing, more CUC, cleaning of mechanical filters…algae will come in stages in new aquariums, once rock is covered with corals algae control gets easier.

I change 10 gallons every week with a thorough scrub, blow everything off twice a week and change my filter socks daily. Definitely will be upping my cuc, I only have about 25 snails/hermits and a conch right now. I know it will stabilize in the long run but just looking to help it along.

If you keep doing that, you will be fine! Instead of a bigger uv get more corals that take up real estate.

Also mix the Red Sea ab+ with the reef Roids and feed directly, but very sparingly.

I beat dinos in my old tank by boosting my copepod population and feeding them lots of phyto
Ok I’ll start feeding them, I already added 3 bottles of pods between my sump and display about a month ago

I throw my hat in with the Dino camp. Do you happen to have a microscope?

Take a look at what you have under it and compare it with a Google snapshot of dinos. @BryanM has hit it on the head I think. It's probably Ostreopsis.
