Picked up a good sized BOP frag and a almost baseball sized colony of ponape. Also a small frag of satosa the guy threw in for free.

Came home and niticed one of my zoanthids (blood suckers) were bulging out. I did some testing and water is good. By the time i was done they were back to normal.

I look in the tank a short while later and my pink zipper pallys are doing the same thing. And as im typing they are flattening back out.

A quick search showed me that this is normal.

Any input?

I call that umbrella. In my experience it means they are happy.

added these guys to the refugium. Im hoping two of them will pair and ill put the third in the display.

added my first fish to my redsea max. Really like him.

And my buddy just brought me a RBT. I put him in the fuge also. Hoping the clowns will host him eventually. He brought him over 2 hours ago. I floated him for 20 min then placed him where i wanted him. Hopefulky he stays. He has really opened a lot very quickly

Nov 24th

Today

Everything is going well. Birdsnests are showing good growth. Loving the sour apple bn.
The montis and the granulosa are showing decent growth. The acros and others are slow compared to the rest but look happy and are encrusting the plugs.

Ive been dosing kalk at about 2 tsp per 5gal in ato. Been adding 12-15 drops of kent iron & manganese per day for the macros.

I added some base rock today.

I have some frags that i nee room for. Andd also i felt like the middle area was waisted.
So i glued some stuff together, uncluding some monti cap skeleton that i got with the red sea max.

I plan to put the superman monti on the monti skely. And i also have room for other corals now.
