Lifes getting back to normal now that I got a job....1smile1 since about 2 weeks ago I been spending alot of time with my tank and it's coming around very well.... I'll try to get some good pics maybe tomorrow.. Well nice as I can with my phone lol... Fts coming tomorrow so I can watch it grow again now that I have a life back...:)

Sorry guys no pics yet... Tank has been recovering very well I thought... I just glanced at it and my shortcake has rtn..:sad: on the other hand a local fellow reefer was nice enough to hook me with a redsea max 100 ozone generator for free!!!! Thanks hebsway.... I ran a gallon of ro water through it , dried it and just put it online... This will be my first go a around with ozone so I don't know what to expect but time shall tell.... I was talking a good friend who has sick sps and he recommended it so I'm giving it a shot....1smile1 I'll keep ya updated and post some pics soon...

That's momma... They still haven't took to it yet... I'm thinking about moving the PVC to where the entrance/exit is in front of the nem.. Then they will have to swim over it every time to go home... Well she will... She hasn't even accepted the male yet..:(

sorry to hear about the shortcake but I'm glad the tank is recovering. let us know when the clowns find the nem. should be an awesome vid to see. my Starburst BTA just found the hole inside the large ceramic pillar. so far, she's decided to come out from the top of the pillar, making it look like a volcano erupting. is yours staying put where you put it?

I laid it on a flat piece and it moved like 3" until it sunk in a hole... It has stayed put since then.... Looks huge now since it stretches to reach the light lol...

Hey TL, That is an awsome build, it took me 2 days to read all of it. That is the exact tank that I want to move too. Thanks for sharing all of your info, not everyone would take the time to do this indepth of a write up and I am sorry that you had hit some rough patches with your setup and job. Wow - being out for most of the summer is kind of a bummer. Takes forever to get caught up on some of the threads. Love the tank and all the DIY tips in the thread. Sorry to read about all the ups and down with both life and the tank. Hopefully things are looking up and you can get it all back on track.

Thanks Willie and Randy.... It has been quiet the journey man that's for sure... The tank has been doing great and my sticks were finally coloring up.... I lost the shortcake and my fuego like 2 days ago... I think I added to much kalk in my top off... :(. I did manage to frag the fuego and save the encrusted frag disc so not a total loss... My brown monties are starting to really color nice now so I know I'm on the right track. The one thing that is weird is I have never had luck with coraline algae... Never cared either since I hate scraping the glass.: I have never had a problem with it since I set up my first tank..: now in the last 3 weeks this tank has exploded with it!!!:sad: it's so annoying man my front glass is covered and now I gotta start scraping.. Arrr hate that stuff!!!! Oh well guess it's a good sign haha....
