DIY LED ?'s

Looking for suggestions on my 3 DIY LED's.

I see Rapid LED has a ultra kit that has about everything for 3 units.

The tank is 30" deep.

I need these units to look very good.

So: Who makes the best quality heatsink, looking for best fit and finish.

Also, what lens would you use to get down 30"?

Any links too LED DIY parts sellers would be great. I already have Reegbuild & Rapid.

Take a look at Rapid LED.
They are designed to hold the fans, hanging wire and the glass splash gaurd.

Makers is a very nice Heatsink but its a tad narrow. Even with 80 Degree Optics anything more than an 18" wide tank would need two rows.

I do like the screw channels that save the expense of drilling and tapping. I hope to see a HeatsinkUSA 8.46" wide version soon without the ends.

HeatsinkUSA has a wide range of profiles and there are Housings available for them from several vendors.

Variations of the second housing is coming...These and a few other available housings makes DIY my first choice as LED Builds are easy.
