Does fish have ick

Hi guys I’ve just finished work and checked on my fish my yellow tail damsel seems to have white spots on tail is this ick or something elee

Definitely looks like Ich! It's possible he will fight off the parasite on his own given that he isn't stressed (fish fighting) and is eating.

Yes. Definitely looks like ich. I suggest you pull him out if you have other fish in the tank. Do you see it scratching itself against rocks or other objects?

Yes. Looks like ICH to me. Quarantine. Hypo salinity. Fresh water dips.

But what else can you tell us? Is the fish behaving in any strange ways? Did you just get this fish? Did you recently put something else new in the tank that may have introduced disease?

Kinda weird a damsel would just get ich right?

I need you to answer this so we can try and learn how you got infected, helping to avoid the mistake in the future.

Is it a new fish?

Is it in quarantine or in your display?

Did you recently add any other new fish to the tank holding the Damsel?

Is the fish swimming into current from the return or power head?

Does the fish appear to be breathing heavy?
