Finally finished dry fitting everything. Open to any suggestions before I set everything in stone. Lmk what you guys think. Don’t mind the boxes i temporarily used to hold up the pipes until I get some clamps lol.

Looks good - but i would consider putting unions in on your drain line - gate valves and elbows… well sometimes things go down the return you don’t expect too…
The only space I have available is that blue pipe right after the 90.

Looks awesome. You probably know how the manifold is assigned but maybe unions between 1+ ball valve so you could rotate it down vertically?
They technically are supposed to be angled down a little more but I have the boxes holding them up for now lol. But that’s a really good idea considering I haven’t chosen which reactors I’ll be hanging.

Never, this is my first time. I’ve always had freshwater aquariums and I thought it was time to switch over.
Question then, when you measure to cut the pipe, you took into account the full length of the fittings to the stop inside? Most are an inch and a quarter if I remember correctly. Reason I'm asking is when you dry fit, you can't fully seat the pipe into the fittings. By the way it looks awesome

Keep in mind the pvc fittings will have much greater insertion into each other when you've got solvent on them. It does look good though, sch80 is the way to go.

Sch80 is the way to go...to find bankruptcy court these days. (wishing I was joking)

Luckily I watched plenty of videos so I did take that into account. You can’t really tell from the lighting/ angle the picture was taken from but the manifold needs to shift a little to the left to that the 2 on the left sit above the middle refugium section. Plus I need the space to also add the hooks to secure the pipes. Here’s a clearer shot
