Hey guys,

Are there any other duncan coral colors besides blue and lavender?

I already have a lavender see him below

Seems like all kinds of variations, i would call between green and blue, but how much these occur due to lighting I cannot say. I have noticed much variation among the tentacles, and these can/do change over time ime.

BLue or Green, or something in between?

And come ball type and branch type.
Some branching types branches are very noticeable green as well.

Without the light mine are all beige, but with light, various stages of green centres.

I have (and still sell) what is known as an “Aussie” Duncan - a Duncan with long tentacles, a green skeleton and toxic green centres.
Then I’ve also had/sold the “regular” Duncans with the shorter, rounder tentacles (yes, the length of the tentacles can be altered by flow but even then, there is a difference) and more of a solid lavender/blue colouration all over (including the centre of the polyp).

When I find photos of the colony I have now vs the colony I had for 5 years you’ll see a clear difference and it’s not just the lighting :)

I would like to see that as well as the "aussie" if they are not the same ones you are talking about lol

This was my solid lavender, you can’t see the base too well but it is what you’d usually expect from an LPS skeleton, the usual dark calcified skeleton.

But this is the “Aussie” with the bright green skeleton and toxic centres - plus longer tentacles. These aren’t the best photos of my colony as I don’t have any single photos but I do have a frag which shows the green stem better but I don’t have a photo yet :)

I might have to get an aussie green sometime!

There are tons of them. I'll try to grab a pic tomorrow, but i have a bit of a duncan garden going on. Just browse shops and online stores and all kinds of fun ones pop up.

Nevermind, I'm bored. Here they are under the late evening blues (and I also just tweaked the lights, so they aren't super happy), but should show off some colors.
