Didnt know I needed more. I have a 125G but I’m scared he might not get a long with my tank mates. I have a purple tang, BPT, 3 chromis, 4 clowns, sail fin tang, fox face, snowflake eel, scooter blenny, lawnmower blenny, and 2 cleaner shrimp. How big of a tank do they need? What would the difference in tank sizes be for a regular vs a dwarf? I just figured dwarf so it doesn’t try and kill my fish

They don't need a huge tank, but like a 50/55g. They will quickly disperse your shrimp and any small fish, some of my dwarf lions have eaten slender fish as much as 2/3rds their own size. My volitan is over a foot long and thick as heck, he's is a 210g and looks huge in there, I can not believe the small tank sizes they recommend for those guys.

Good to know might have to stay away from one then. I like my cleaner shrimp:) I was scared when I got my snowflake he would eat my cleaners but when he gets near the cleaners they attack the eel and he runs away

I think that’s the one. I couldn’t find any picturesque of a blue eye that’s also very dark like mine but here’s some similar pictures. This is what my fish looks like minus the yellow eye!

The kole tang is in the Ctenochaetus genus, which is the genus of bristletooth tangs. These tangs do stay small and would fit fine in your 125g, Providing your purple tang doesn't bully him, or your PBT, that may be a tough sell.

You think I should take him out of my frag tank right now and place him in my 125G? or should I wait till he gets a little bigger? I wanted to keep something in there to keep up with the algae on the rock and the frag rack and he does a good job. my lfs keeps them in a tank that seems to be a 45-55 gallon tank

He seems tiny now and they do grow very slowly, you can tell when he starts getting cramped, like pacing and such. I would fatten him up good before introducing him to your other 2. Those little tangs could be kept in a 55g for a good while before out growing, many keep them in a 75g as a permanent home.

Another thing to think about is that the purple tang and the PBT can be notoriously aggressive, and these bristletooth tangs are rather docile. You may want to get some more feedback if that's a good idea.
