Where did you read this
He's just kidding! LOL.
It just seems as though it would be an idiotic decision to add T5 to the Radion if you are Ecotech. It's like saying that the LEDs alone are not enough. We certainly know that the Radion has proven that is is enough over and over again.

I think the market exists regardless of LED quality, coverage. Of Course the mfg will recommend adding more of their product but I can't afford 6 xr30's for my tank like some:p

LOL!!!
I was simply stating that it wouldn't make business sense to add T5. They have done so much work to move LED as a replacement for other forms of lighting. Trust me, I had a custom 60" Geisemann Spectra all lined up for this build. Also was looking into a 60" 8x80w ATI Hybrid. I just ended up choosing the Radions over those.

Everyone in my club with radions have been adding T5’s lately. One hobbyist had 8 radions on his tank and was having problems. Once we did a full Par check on his 300 gallon tank he added the T5 fixtures to his tank and everything started to click on his tank. I see This all over the web now since the easy to install fixtures came onto the market last year.

So it's user error! They are probably all rehashing the same mistakes. If they are all taking advice from each other, maybe they should consider consulting in someone who has been successful using Radions.

Many thousands is much more likely. One of the biggest issues with these lights is that you can manipulate too many settings. Hard to pin the issue on the light but if you give users the capability, they'll use it.

I have to agree 100% with you. Reefers are way to dumb to be empowered with so much control. Like simple minded children, they cannot resist fiddling with their new toys. For those that cannot be trusted with this new found power, they can always go with metal halide, T5, black box LEDs, Kessils (without the controller), ect... Leave the grown folks LEDs to those who can truly handle the power!
