Recently added some nice big nassarius snails... but nothing else in a long time. Any idea what these eggs are? Don't look anything like what I'd expect nassarius snail eggs to look like. Approx 5mm diameter, clustered but move slightly with the current. Thanks!

Can’t see it but here’s a picture of one of my nassarius snails laying eggs while my shrimp eats them.

Thanks guys. Yeah these eggs are very different to those. Hopefully this picture uploads now. These are on the rocks too as opposed to the glass.

I had checked the tank maybe 15 minutes before this and they weren't there. Nothing else in my tank that I can think of that would lay eggs like this. My hermits and Nassarius snails (diff species to those recently added) ate them within minutes.

I can confirm it's not the bergia, their eggs are typically layed in a spiral pattern, and collonista snails are typically clear blobs.
Yea, I've both in my tank currently. Far as I can see, all common reef tank snail eggs are similar. These ones I can only assume come from the new species of Nassarius as that's the only new addition to the tank in months. I did see very similar eggs in one online article about Nassarius, but they never referenced or discussed the image specifically
