85% sure it’s an elephant slug just want others opinions. Otherwise out comes the turkey baster! Lol

Either one of those things is a beneficial herbivore so don't bust out the turkey baster either way!

My elephant slug does not show its shell all the time. I think it has shorter nubby antenna . It also has a transparent ribbony look to its sides.
Yours does make me think stomatella based on the shape and thinness of its antenna

I thought the same thing. I have a good amount of stomatellas but this guy is much bigger, black and you can actually see his pincers chomping on algae.
I have a couple elephant slugs in my tank and the white shell in the center is sometimes not visible, BUT, the antennas on a stomatella are much longer, where the antenna on an elephant slug and very short and stubby

My elephant slugs are populating in my 90 gallon with lots of live rock. I have at least 13. Should I control the population?
I just found out mine are as well! I cleaned out my filter the other day and found 2 very tiny ones, so I thought YAY! babies!! But I already have at least 3 adults, so it won't be long before I am where you are, and I also have a 90 gallon.

The antennas are quite large. I can see them using each one. They have the white, but not always visible.
