I love my emerald crab since he absolutely demolished by bubble algae and sponges, but he does defend his territory. He moved into a cave that my damsel occupies, so they butt heads a lot. The damsel is a bit of a dick anyway, so the confrontations are expected.

I have never found them to be an issue with anything as long as they are well fed. You or I would eat coral too if left to just eat fish poop and stuff. They need real food to eat and I have always found them more than willing to tolerate fish and not touch any corals while eating algae.

The more I sit working from home this week and watch my fish, I think it’s the blenny that’s being the a hole. He is also sizing up to my watchman goby, who I noticed has a fin injury . It appears that blennies are jerks. At least mine is. Kind of wish I hadnt been sold he was going to help take care of our GHA. Which he doesn’t. The only thing cool about him are his eyebrows.

My starry blenny was biting my fox face so I gave the blenny to my LFS. You can see one of its bite marks on the side of the foxface below. At times the foxface would have 5 to 10 bite marks on it. It took me a while to figure out what was going on. Bye bye Blenny.

When I look at the photo it does look like bite marks.. I’m not 100 percent sure it was the blenny but I’ll be watching like a hawk now that someone actually looks injured

Got any clowns or damsels? They could be the suspect.
Two clowns and one can be a witch. So she could be a suspect. I have never seen her mess with the goby though. Typically she is meanest to the other clown and every blue moon the royal gamma, but nothing severe. The blenny and the goby get into it way more and blenny is the newest addition too. All the other fish are OG’s. The blenny was added beginning of December.
