Something to be said for the ability to have bright light in a QT tank. I moved the goby over to my 60 cube and noticed what I think is still significant tail rot/injury. It’s almost like it was snipped off. I didn’t notice it before because it’s so small, I’m not familiar with them in general, and in dim light it looked normal.

Sadly it continued to get worse, at times just letting the little flow blow it around as it hovered tail up. It struggled to get to food as well as showed no sign of improved tail growth or function so I decided to euthanize it using clove oil. Thanks for the advice and assistance.
