I have a chance to get a very nice large engineer goby (10"-12"). I have never seen one this large in any store. I was wondering to well people think he would do in my tank. It is a 90g mixed reef with 2"-3" sand bed and is loaded with rock and corals.

Live stock
2 - percula clowns
1- 6 line wrasse
1 - tiger jawfish
1 - midas blenny
1- aptasia eating filefish (has eaten all of my aptasia, majano, zoas and palys)
1 - red sea sailfin tang (only about 2"-2.5" to control bubble algae - I already have a plan for when he is larger)
1 - bristle tooth tang
2 - green chromis

any input would be a great help.

Keep in mind that engineers will rearrange everything that isn't glued down.Rocks can topple when they shift through the substrate. For this reason rocks must be resting(or even glued) on bottom pane of glass.Corals on the sand bed will be covered on a frequent basis.I would not recommended it your aquarium.

Even if he does not destroy the aquascape he will drive out your jawfish from it's burrow and continually stress him out.
