I test fit the Scrubber in the sock holder and it fits pretty decent. I think it needs to be about a 1/4" longer but the width is almost perfect.

Light has been ordered. Flow from the Mi Mouse is almost perfect at full speed.

Definitely need a redesigned filter cup to allow for extra flow. Here's what I've got so far:

I started reading through your thread.
It's gonna take me quite a while to get through 153 pages!

What I've seen in the few pages I was able to get though...

Impressive!
Beautiful
Thanks! It's hit or miss sometimes. I (unfortunately or fortunately - up to you to decide) don't do a lot of updates on my own thread. I tend to participate in other build threads.

It's got a different footprint which is cool! Very similar to my old 75 - 36" x 21" x 21".

Yeah! Whoever gets that 180 at the end of the Mariner of the Year is getting an amazing system. The 70 is a little small, the 100 would be perfect, but the 180 or the Peninsula would be awesome!

I forgot to post this the other day but in Saturday I came home from the fish store, took the plants I bought for the freshwater tank out of the bag and saw a bag I didn't buy... Inside the bag was a Sand Sifting Starfish.

Acclimated and placed in the tank and haven't seen it since.

I haven't seen the Star since I added it on Saturday. Don't know if that's good or bad. Hopefully it's fine.

Got some maintenance done today a little. Made sure the ATO is full. I'm heading out for the weekend and didn't want my wife and kids to have to do much if anything while I'm gone.

So thoughtful of you even though we know the real reason is because you don't want them fiddling with your stuff. Although, giving it a little thought, you'd be happy if one of them did fiddle with your stuff.

So @TheWB tasked me with printing a magnetic Frag Rock Rack.

IMG_20250926_134125476.jpg

The little plate on the back is where the magnet gets attached. Problem: the magnet sticks out from the glass so there's a gap of about 11 mm between the glass and the back of the frag rock. (For us Americans, that's almost a half of an inch) That's a fairly large gap so a redesign was in need.

1000008151.jpg

Now with THIS design, the magnet is inside the back. I printed a cap for the back and then a box for outside the glass. Magnets arrive Tuesday. They're neodymium magnets - dipped. I'm going to coat the inside of the box and the rack to waterproof them "just in case".

Source for the magnets?

I've got aquarium silicone sealant and left enough space around the magnet (if the dimensions on Amazon are correct) to put a layer all around and then I'll use Weldon to glue the cap on the box

So I siliconed the magnet chamber and siliconed the magnets in last night and left them to cure. Now I can't find my Weldon. 😂

I'm going find that hopefully tomorrow or I'll have to go grab another tube. Apparently there are 3 or 4 stores within a couple of miles of my house that sell Weldon. The last tube I ordered off Amazon and waited two weeks for delivery.
