ESHOPPS Mariner 70 Build

Lived in AZ for a couple years back in the 80’s my male dog lifted his leg next to a teddy bear cactus I think it was called… that required a vet visit.

Congratulations. How is it you are always winning stuff :face-with-tears-of-joy:
I enter EVERYTHING and sometimes they pick me. :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Teddy Bear chollas are nasty critters. You look at them and they attack you. There's a reason they also refer to them as Jumping Cactus.

Good news! Tore the Plank down for cleaning and it's running like a champ now. It looks like the pump came loose somehow.

Alright. I'm going to get this started!

I won the ESHOPPS Mariner 70 giveaway so I'm setting up the build thread. Pictures will be coming as I set it up!

Equipment List:
Obviously, ESHOPPS Mariner 70
ESHOPPS RS-100 sump
ESHOPPS S-120 Protein Skimmer and
ESHOPPS Lift Skimmer Stand
Rio+ 2100 Return Pump
2 Noopsyche K7 V3 140watt
Maybe 1 Noopsyche K7 V3 75watt
Inkbird 300 watt Inkpet aquarium heater
Inkbird ITC-306T Heater Controller
Jebao DC4 Dosing Pump
Avast Marine Plank auto feeder

Aquascape:
I'm going to go for a natural-ish aquascape with shelves. Many of the rocks are Aragocrete shelves that I made myself. Pic to come once tank is set up!

Blank slate! 1/26/24

It's got a different footprint which is cool! Very similar to my old 75 - 36" x 21" x 21".

What is the Reef 2 Reed led light you have?

Mines still in the box. I need to get it hung up!
Mine actually went to the house across the street and I had to go rescue it - it's an Air BNB.

So my question about LA - why is it that Petco, Amazon, SaltwaterAquarium.com, and other stores have items in a stock and order more when they run out, but LA can't get them back in stock? I could understand if it was a discontinued product but they've been out of Reef Trace and Reef Plus for 2 years or more. I just messaged them about the Hydros Leak Rope Sensor Kit and they said they won't be back in stock anytime soon.

Sales contracts/quotas?

I've always felt like there was more out of stock than in stock with LA hardgoods

Well, Hydros is supposed to be dropped off tomorrow but so far UPS decided they don't want to actually take it to the Post Office (who is supposed to make final delivery) so they've been "processing" my delivery for the past 12 hours and USPS is waiting... They've now updated it to a Monday delivery. Good old worthless UPS.

Apparently UPS decided that they're going to be close enough at some point today that they'll go ahead and bring it to me instead of handing it off to USPS...

The message says "UPS will be in your area and will deliver the package a day early" even though it was originally set for delivery today before 9pm...?

Either way, USPS still says it's waiting to receive the item to deliver it to me.

Scared me for a minute, thought maybe I was sent the torches:

Just a reused box. Of course UPS put it right in the sunlight instead of the shade.

Hydros installed. Temperature sensor is in, power strip is connected.
