45 gallon bowfront... coral, fish, 5 months old.. around $6000.

29g nano, started a little over a month ago.

Stock is the following:

• 2x DaVinci Clownfish ($80)
• 1x Scarlet Skunk Shrimp ($31)
• 1x Turbo snail ($5)
• 1x Other snail ($4)

Coral:

• 1x Zoa ($10)
• 1x Mushroom ($30)

Equipment: (really isn’t that great)

• Filter: Seachem Tidal 35 ($45)
• Light: Nicrew Marine LED ($59)
• Heater: Interpet 5-30 ($20)
• Powerhead: Aquaneat 5-30 ($15)

Scape is just dry rock and some live rock: (spent around $80 for both)

I guesstimate I have spent over $400 on my 29g tank, but I’m not even close to getting done with it... I plan to purchase may more frags (once I have the funds) and a $100 black box light.

Just started a 120 gallon reef with an Eshopps 35 gallon sump , skimmer 2 HD 32 Hydras , 2 4K gyre pumps , 6 channel doser , what else Caribe Sea live rock . Tank has been running since October 2020

I have built 3 tanks in the last year, Nothing purchased used, Custom built 120 gallon tank, hood, stand, control cabinet, mangrove display refugium, trigger 39 sump, full Apex, 2 DOS, COR 20, 2 Radion XR30' G5, Reefbright XHO's. 95 gallon custom built frag set up with fragging station and all the goodies. 15 gallon waterbox with custom stand, ATO. Probably close to 3 grand in fish, way more than that in coral. I have to say conservatively 15K easy. Currently drawing up 330 gallon system to replace the 120.

I just priced it all out and including lights, corals and 3 damsels maybe $600.

On my waterbox 100.3..... between 12-15k is a reasonable estimate if not a bit low. Not counting electricity.
