ESV 2 part clarification

After researching ESV two part, I noticed some people mention there's two or maybe there was two different versions, but the one listed on BRS is that carbonate based or bicarbonate? I wanted to make sure I select the right one on the Reef Chemistry Calculator. Carbonate is the one that raises Ph?

I believe there's only one version. And it does not raise pH, only Alkalinity and Calcium.

That one is the carbonate version and tends to raise pH.

The other (not sure if it is still sold) was clearly labeled B-ionic Bicarbonate, and has a tiny pH drop when first added.

Yes, it has a pH boost effect when first added.

There's a bit of ambiguity in the question since deposition of calcium carbonate tends to lower pH again, so in terms of a full round trip process, carbonate is pH neutral, bicarbonate lower pH, and hydroxide raises pH. :)
