Hi,
I just got a new frag for my tank and bought it as a hammer from my LFS. Upon more research and inspection, I think it may be a frogspawn hammer hybrid. Can anyone ID this Euphyllia for me?

Looks like a frammer. Should grow fairly fast once it settles in. Not sure if hammer, frogspawn, or frammer is worth more. Rare coloration is what people pay for, that frag looks nicely colored but not a rare color at all. Buy what you like not what is popular.

What makes you think it’s bleached? The image has a bit dull coloration on the tips, but in person it doesn’t like with on the tips.

What do you think would be a reasonable price for this coral, I payed 120 for it.

I dont think it looks bleached, just vibrant likely it has been under higher light. My euphyllia are all vibrant from slightly higher light and I personally prefer vibrant over deep rich color. I frag my colony of one the same color and sale frags for about 30 per head to local reefers. I know they sale for more at LFS, but I rarely purchase coral from LFS anymore unless I am using store credit from trading in frags. You should look into finding a local online club in your area, hobbyists let corals go for much less then LFS sale them for. Its also a good way to see other hobbyists tanks and see how other systems run. Cheaper coral and free knowledge.
