My tank is 30 by 12 by 18 (high) I'm looking into the evos, any led gurus that can point me in the right direction? Anyone have experience with 29 gallon that has them? Any input will help, because I am really confused on what would be ideal haha.

BigFeesh,
Are you able to post pics, video, or par ratings?
I'm very interested in evo LED also, and specifically that fixture.

Do it! I have 2 on my 120, the electricity savings are worth it IMO. The spread, as was told to me, is 24"x24" so you might need two OR you could hang it up higher to get the full spread OR you could get the longer ones. I got the first gen ones and all the other color temp and length options weren't available yet.

I have one 120 watt G1 over my tank. I've had it running for over 9 months. Only turn on the blues and I have 2 acros, a rbta, and tons of zoas inside the tank. Everything is happy and I am slowly changing all my tanks over to this lighting. Only thing I would say is that for a 29 gal you will want the light to be about 5-6" over the tank. I have mine about 1" over the water surface due to canopy height and wish I could go a little higher. Hope that helps!

thanks macaw, I'm going to pull the trigger as soon as they're in stock. I'm thinking 100 w 3G, because it's 18 by 5 so I think that would be the best spread but 16 by 8 souldn't be bad either. Either way I plan on building a canopy I'll figure out a way for it to be adjustable. I added a stunner strip to my t-5's and leds blow me away so I need an ALL led fixture and price wise evolution makes sense. So I'll update after I get them.
