I always thought they are expensive and never understood why he would post locals (Dallas area) pay less? Since it's an internet site to sale goods, I would think the goal is to draw in customers beyond the local area. I am out of state and why would I pay more and pay for shipping? Does this make any sense or I’m I the odd ball here?

it makes sense to the point that some people (like me at the moment) live in places where it is hard to get good corals frequently (bangor, me)forcing you to order them online which makes more work for the person selling them. If you show up at his place, pick out your coral and take it home-this saves the person filling an order; which includes finding the coral, packaging it, weighing it, taking it to fedex and shipping it, and HOPING fedex doesnt screw it up and get some ticked customer calling you a day later saying the coral never arrived. Does that make sense? plus they offer free shipping, and that really isnt free for them obviously.
