Amen to that! Have you ever used the GE 6500? If so, how does it compare to your Tropic?
Nope never, Ben directed me to the Tropic when I was starting the SPS journey. I heard good thing about them too. I have 2 old school hydra 26 and supplement them with with one tropic and blue +. I have bunch of othe T5 bulbs like coral +, purple, Actinic etc but I prefer to keep the lighting in the 12K-14 K range. I am thinking of adding two of those OR UV bar over the tank but debating on which lens I should go with.

Nice!

What size is your tank? I would think 120 to get better spread since they are supplemental bars and you aren't relying on them for par. So a nice spread bathing of UV would be ideal to reap the benefits.

Its a 55G but with a bit odd shape. Its 30x24x18. So, you think if I put 2 of 24" with 120 lens they will be better than 90 ones?

Its just all about the spread you want. On a 24" that's only 18" deep, I would personally go 120, because I'm not worried about penetration at 18" deep so my desire would be more spread to cover half of the tank each with a bar front and back.

Ok, then 120 it is. I wish to try Orphek because I am planning on my big build and wish to use Orphek and ATI in combination. So, this will give me some ideas.

GregC Ultimate Efflo - oddly, of all my frags, I'm most excited for this one to become a colony. I have a soft spot for efflos.

JF Fox Flame - one of the acros that have popped up in the last 5 years that made it into classic status in my book.

How large was your other efflo before it started to get the shape of an efflo?

I mean yours currently.
Not currently but its only been placed in that spot the last month and a half. It'll take some time to adapt growth to the flow and light characteristics in that area and hopefully it'll start looking like a table more soon.

You can get it from Adam @Battlecorals I believe. It's definitely a stunner!

You know whats funny I skipped right over that never even saw it while I was on his site yesterday. I just went back and looked and yes you are right he has it. I'll have to add that in a future order
