Fedex shipping BS

Ok so i sent a frag yesterday next day threw fedex and they didnt send it out because they closed early. like what the hecka kinda crap is that the frag might not make it because of this im lucky its a zoa frag but still i didnt get insurance. has anyone ever had any problem like this?

Nope, NEVER had this problem in over 15 years of shipping with FedEx AS LONG AS I make the cutoff time. If I miss it, I better catch the pickup driver on the street on go down to the airport FedEx terminal.

Not that exact thing but I ordered an acro before and it was suppose to be at my house at 10 am. But the same FedEx guy drove by my house 4 times through out the day. Then at 3 pm when it was 100 outside, he shows up. I said wouldn't it be more cost effective to stop at the houses as you go rather than drive all over the neighborhood? He said we don't have time to arrange the trucks that way. I said you would if your truck was better organized.

yes its going out today yes i went in my self and no they didnt say anything about closing early when i called then they just said sorry and i asked them if i could come get it and get my money back and they told me know i think fedex just lost a costumer

This is why i refuse to do business with fedex, and refuse to do business with anybody that only deals with them. Ive had this address for over 40 years had them deliver things for years and its always an on going problem that they cant find me and they hold it in there store. What really bothers me is they tell me on the tracking that my address is Incorrect. But its my exact address. So you never truely get an honest answer. Ground deliveries dont get picked up till the following day even if its before 11am, the list just Continues to go on. So dont feel like the lone ranger with them.

not every good one at all what suck is that the zoa frag i sent is worth alot of money and what can i do if the dont make it nothing thats what made me the maddest. and because i didnt get insurance im screwed even though it all there fault

I ve had the most ridiculous jumps in shipping prices 89.00 to newjersey from fl it was less to ship to Cali ! Same box same weight!

I drive truck for Fed Ex and all I can say is dump them, they are soooooo cheap they dont even own their trucks they are all private leased so they dont have to pay insurance etc...... The last package I got had 4 labels on it that said Fragile 1 on each side. The driver comes to my door, with the box completley smashed and expected me to sign the electronic pad just because he knew I drove semi for them. I see how they handle the packages there, just like that youtube video of the guy throwing the tv over the fence, that's exactly what the kids loading the trucks do all day long.

Insurance doesn't cover live goods anyway...

I worked for a local company that did shipping hrough fedex and I saw what some of them did. It is really bad how they treat packages. Most people who treated customers this way would be out of business or fired...

Are you sure it wasn't a problem from the Hurricane? A couple of our Vendors couldn't ship until today.

Also FedEx ground is a completely different company that FedEx Express. FedEx ground doesn't own their own trucks but FedEx Express does.

fed ex smed ex. Not to bash them but it has always been a garabage company here in orlando from my past experiences. Its always good when im on a forklift in my parking lot and a fedex express truck hits atleast 40 mph in the parking lot with out a care in the world. Thats all i have to say about it not worth my time. Blah.

Ouch, sorry to hear that. Mistakes do happen, can't really control it. Have you heard anything from them yet? I would be on the phone trying to get ahold of someone to rectify the situation or maybe just get a better understanding of what happened. Unfortunately if you tell them they lost a customer more than likely they really won't care(sad but true). The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, if your not doing serious business with them daily they will not even bat an eye at their mistakes. Hope everything works out.

it was fedex express and yea when i call they told me that they closed early and that y my package didnt get sent out

Sounds like you shipped from a FedEx kinkos. They are franchise stores not owned by FedEx. If they closed early that means the FedEx route driver couldn't pick up any bodies freight. Not really FedExs fault. That said I don't prefer FedEx, but it seems they are the preferred carrier of this hobby, not really sure why
