I currently have a Red Sea Reefer 250 with an aquaticlife 36” hybrid it fixture and 2 hydra 26hd that are from 2018 as used purchase
looking to try to start keeping SPS and even Acropora and my rock work is somewhat low so the depth is about 18-20” to top of rock work when considering lights are about 10” above waterline
using a friend par meter only getting around 200-250 now at top of rock work so want to beef it up some and also help all around. Don’t want to spend over $600 on any light
options:
1- sell both hydra 26 and get one AP700 while on sale for $549
2- supplement my existing set up with an XR15G5 blue for around $419
3- other idea?
obviously want whatever I get to fit into the aquaticlife fixture which both the AP700 or radion XR15 do which is why they seemed to make sense as well as being well regarded lights by many.
