Hi !!

I'm currently upgrading to a JBJ 45ga... It comes with two media baskets on each side. I'm thinking of setting it up as follows...

First media basket with filter floss on top and pond matrix below

Second media basket with filter floss on top and Purigen and chemi pure on bottom compartments

What do you guys think of this setup??

Thanks in advance !!

If you don't have Po problems I wouldn't use a GFO. It strips the nutrient Po out of the water quickly and the corals don't have time to eat it. I would just run carbon.
You may want to look at sponge rather than floss as I found it was easier to clean and lasted longer. But yes. Nice set up.
