Hey all, my fire shrimp molted last night and of course the exoskeleton is way back behind the live rock. Is it OK to leave it in there? I have a 29 gal biocube. No fish, one Fire Fhrimp, 5 Hermit Crabs, and 6 margarita snails.

Getting a phone of the shrimp is impossible. But here is one of his shed.

From my own experience I've never had a problem leaving them in the tank. Sometimes I remove them if they are free floating or stuck in one of my vortechs. Other time they eventually disappear never to be seen again.
If you can't get to it I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks for your comments, that was my initial thought, but needed the voice of experience. :)
