First coral ever bought

What was the very first coral you ever bought, Do you still have it and if so post some pictures of it.

My very first one was a flower pot. I had so many feelings going thru me when I bought it. I had no idea what it was or how the polyps could retract and then extend that far out. needless to say it died like 5days later so i dont have a pic of it but i'll never forget how excited i was to take it home.

Well if this includes polyps, I bought a mushroom rock, and it ended up taking over my tank. I'm not sure about hard corals but a green trachy sticks out in my memory.... killed it of course.

Haha I bought a rock with some aiptasia on it and told my wife OMG this rock has coral on it lol At that time it was the greatest thing on earth

LOL! My wife liked the aptasia too. One of my first is a neon green toadstool about a bit larger than a quarter when I got it. Here it is now to the left of Tyree Setosa. Sorry pic taken with my samsung smartphone. :bigsmile:
