What should I do for a 50 gallon long tank? I was thinking 2 maxspect jump 30 watts would that work? I am hoping to grow Duncans euphylia, softies and other lips. If it wolnt work give me suggestions! Thanks for any help

tank dimensions would help… I would recommend thinking about a single Nicrew 200 W; you’d have a lot more PAR and color blending if you go for the second gen lights.

30 watts is far too little, I would go with 150 or 200 watts. Or 2 x 100 watts, depending on the tank width. Don't cheap out on lighting or you will be frustrated later.

A single Reef breeders photon 32 if you can find one. I think they're discontinued now that meridians are out. I think one would be perfect on a tank that size. I have two on my 36x22x22" acro dominant tank.

I also have a photon 24 over a 40g breeder I recently moved onto.
