I don't think I'll get any anemone's at least for awhile, the thought of one walking across the rockwork stinging everything is kinda scary lol. Thanks for sharing your experience about the blennies and coral beauty fish. I'm still thinking about the Tomini though, I'd like to have some type of pet fish that can help me out with the algae. My aquarium is only going to be 100 gallons which is sort of borderline for tangs so I believe a Tomini is the only option if I want a tang. You have 10 tangs! That's amazing :) Would love to see pictures. I would really like to have a copperband, but I feel that I'll need a lot more reefing experience and a little larger aquarium. (at least like a 5ft)
Tomini should be fine! And clowns dont need nems. Mine have hosted rocks and overflows before lol.

I appreciate all the great advice! I think once I'm 100% sure my lights and autofeeder are in their forever place I'll order a lid from Kraken Reef, those look really nice. I don't think I have ever heard of the White Tail Bristle Tooth Tang (long name lol) I have a great LFS so I'll see if they get one in or maybe they can order one.
Theres lots of bristletooth tang colors. Look up bristletooths and see what you like! Tomini is also a bristletooth

You could keep a yellow or a bristletooth in that tank no problem. Tangs are my favorite cuc members. I do not recommend this and I have a large tank I can move fish to in case things don't work out, but I've been keeping a yellow and two spot bristletooth in a 36x22x22" tank for 14 months and it's probably my most peaceful tank. They just chill all day grazing on the rocks. I think the rock scape helps and I feed a lot. A hungry fish is an aggressive fish IME.

This is the other gang. I'm one if those people that get attached to my pets. I set this tank up just for the tangs because I felt they were out growing the 180g they were in. 4 yellows, purple, naso, vlamingii and convict along with a few other fish. I recently lost my hippo after having her 5 years. The only aggression is a short chase from the purple once in while and the yellows like to act like tangs and tail swipe one another on occasion.

Honestly 98% of saltwater fish are jerks lol. Thats what I learned. Its about finding fish with similar temperaments that keep each other in check and that creates a “peaceful” tank, as much as you can for saltwater! My tank currently has 4 moray eels. Everyone thinks they are aggressive and they are listed as aggressive, but its because of their eating habits. My eels are very peaceful with each other and often are found snuggling together! As seen below

Thanks for your help. I figured since the Tomini tang is the smallest tang that I know of that it would be the best but it sounds that slightly larger Tangs might work also. It's great that 3 Tangs can actually get along in an aquarium of that a size. You have some amazing aquariums by the way!
