First, thank you to everyone who came out tonight for our first club meeting. We had 18 people attend!

-Welcome/Initial Introductions
-Jeremy "J" - R2R and Tech
-Nicole - Biology, Ecosystems, Syngnathidae
-Tamara - Sponsor/Advisor
-John - Experience and Food

-Club Goals
-Local support and knowledge base
-R2R for global knowledge base
-still able to assist locally

-Meetings
-Discussed different type of meetings and schedule
-Will alternate social meetings with activities each month
-January meeting will be hosted by Jeremy and Nicole
-Social meeting
-February will be an activity, topic will be decided through R2R and FB poll
-March will be hosted by Joe
-Social meeting

-Activities/Trips
-Discussed different hands-on activities:
-Aquascaping
-DIY reef rock
-Discussed various trips the club could participate in:
-Aquarium Visits
-Beach Clean-up
-Coral Restoration Foundation
-Dive trips
-Aquaculture facilities

-Education
-Discussed particular topics club members would like to learn more about
-Culturing
-Phyto, pods, rotifers, etc...
-Breeding
-Separate dinner round tables to discuss breeding and best practices

-General Discussion
-Member introductions
-Discussed future "community" tank

We will have one in January. We are actually sitting down tomorrow to pick and announce a date and time.

January's meeting will be a social house visit.

Tomorrow we will also open the voting on the topic/craft will be the focus of February's meeting.
