Even though this FW treatment will not cure the disease, it can help to remove some of the parasites, as well as reduce the amount of mucus in the gills to assist with potential respiration problems . FW dip is highly recommended Especially is formalin is not immediately available. FW will also help in preventing secondary bacterial infections to arise, such as redness and fin rot which can or may occur with brooklynella.
If You SEE parasites on your fish (in an established) system.. You need to 'REMOVE' him to a low stress, 'highly oxygenated' bucket(?)..or whatever ASAP..
Then you'll gave a li'l 'hesitation time' to figure things out.. w/o risking any harm to your sytem..
