Fish ID help

I just picked up a new fish at my LFS. They said they have never seen one before and called it a blood red chromis. He thought it might be a new species collected for the first time. (??) I can't find anything online with anything close to that name. It's probably 1 1/2 long and more torpedo shape than what I know as a more common chromis. Right now it is somewhat grey with a blue/green hue and maybe a hint of red in the fins and tail. Sorry about the fuzzy pic he is still in the bag acclimating.

Poor photo but from its shape, fins and what appears to be the mouth, I would say Anthia.

If it was never before seen i don't think it would be at a normal old LFS for sale. Its also kinda sketchy since I know from old days working at a LFS that they atleast ordered what type fish they wanted. I couldn't imagine a place just getting in mystery fish..LOL It could happen i guess just find it a bit weird..

Ya i kinda thought the same things. I E-mailed APet which supplies my LFS to see if they will asnwer and tell me anything.
