New reefer, so still learning what is or isn’t normal.

Walked back into my office and saw the Tomini giving my scarlet hawkish a bit of a tough time. Brief chasing and pushing up against him. No biting that I could see. Hasn’t seen these two interacting with each other really. Hawkfish swam away but quickly came back and kept doing his thing so didn’t seem to bother him much.

Separately the yellow tang seems to have started getting in the Tomini’s face a bit - haven’t seen any nipping or chasing, but some (what seems to me at least) displays of dominance like this video (excuse the uglies!)

After this, I noticed a bit of a mark on the Tomini. Photos below, and you can make it out a bit better in the video. Can’t tell if it is a scrape or something else. Fish was QT’d via HTTM, for what it is worth.

Yellow and Scarlet were QT’d together with no issues. Both were in an acclimation box for a few days before being released into the tank and they have been in the tank for at least a week until the first signs of any back and forth between the fish just now.

100 gal, 4’ tank. 2 clowns, Pink Streaked wrasse, the two tangs and the hawfish. +CUC

Would appreciate thoughts on what is or isn’t normal, what to watch out for and what the marks on the Tomini may be.
