Fish Loaf

Today we made our fish loaf.
Used recipe from Brine Shrimp Direct with some variation.
INGREDIENTS:
Fresh Coho salmon, Fresh Yellowfin Tuna, Fresh Shrimp
Canned Crab, Canned Oysters, Canned Clams
Frozen Seafood Combo
Reef Nutrition Arctipods 16 oz, Reef Nutrition Roti-Feast 16 oz, Reef Nutrition Oyster Feast 16 oz
Frozen Brine Shrimp 16 oz, Frozen Mysis Shrimp 16 oz, Frozen Blood Worms 16 oz, Frozen Silversides 16 oz
Frozen Cyclopeeze 2.5 oz X 3
Tahitian Blend Algae Paste, SELCO Enrichment Concentrate, Decapsulated Brine Shrimp Egg, Naturose Powder
GP Reef and Larval Diet, Freeze Dried Copepods, Freeze Dried Rotifers, Freeze Dried Bloodworms
Freeze Dried Krilll Superba, Various Algae
Doug cut pieces of eggcrate with a piece of plexiglass to lay each eggcrate on.
Once filled we separated the sheets of eggcrate with plastic wrap for freezing.
Here are some shots of the whole ordeal. It took about 4 hours.
We had 29 eggcrate sheets. Still have a bowl of the concoction - tomorrow when we empty the eggcrate sheets and freeze the cubes in bags we will re-fill the sheets in order to finish what is left in the bowl.

We use it mostly for our own tanks, will sell to some folks locally if they want some. We have alot of tanks and alot of fish so we just use it until we run low then make some more.
We freeze the cubes in those freezer bags by Reynolds where you have a device to suck the extra air out of the bag so it keeps really good.
It does smell TERRIBLE and NO, did not taste it (GAG) ! :bigsmile:

Tahitian Blend Algae Paste 125ml
SELCO Enrichment COncentrate 125ml
Decapsulated Brine Shrimp Egg 8 oz
Naturose Powder 2 oz
GP Reef and Larval Diet 6 oz
Freeze Dried Copepods and Rotifers were both 2 oz
Freeze Dried Blood Worms 1 oz
Freeze Dried Krill Superba 1.75 oz

These listed above we got at Brine Shrimp Direct where we also got the original recipe (Mac's Famous Fish Loaf) though over time we have changed it somewhat for our liking.

That gorgeous algae - can't remember where we got it - have had it awhile.
