you are close to max in that tank. Maybe a firefish goby or 2, or 1 azure(or springeri) damsel, but the clowns might fight any new inhabitants given the small size

I will pass on the damsel i have reed they are jerk
They are and trust me I know but azures and yellow tails are much more peaceful. I’ve had 6 fish in a 32 gallon for two years, 2 clowns, wrasse, diamond watchman goby, royal gramma and a yellow tail damsel without any aggression issues and added a tailspot about a year ago and had no problems. A splash of blue in the tank is a bonus.

I have a 15G waterbox and here's what I was looking into:
- Small wrasses - like a Pink Streaked Wrasse
- Neon Goby
- Firefish (lots of different kinds)

I'd personally skip on the royal gramma - they're well known for disease, sometimes end up hiding a lot, and can also sometimes turn out to be real jerks!

Unsure of temperament but if you do firefish you're going to want a lid.

My old Bangaii cardinalfish was more ornery and combative than my springeri damsel, who gets along great with everyone. Just throwing a Hector's goby into the hat of fish names. Mine was a model citizen and I'd catch it snacking on hair algae, to boot.

I agree re not stocking much heavier tho

Tank is pretty small for an angle, don't you think? Live Aquaria recommends 55 gal for a pygmy.

Meicanthus (fang blennies). They are open swimmers, not cryptic like the Royal gramma, not coral snackers, not hiders like the firefish will be with a pair of clowns. They are easy feeders and can defend themselves yet don’t pick on anyone. I have a canary yellow one with a forked tail and a black and white striped one with a yellow head. He is everyone’s favorite fish who sees my 30 G water box. They are also tank bred, which is important to me, and not expensive.
