My dad has two tanks. The main tank is 90gal and the second one is a 40gal backup/emergency tank in the garage. I have taken over maintenance ever since his health issue last year. The 40gal has now become my hobby tank but still a backy/emergency tank.
In January and February I upgraded the lights to two AI Vegas we had in storage and added a DIY overflow and sump.
Beginning of March I re-aquascaped the tank and added two acans and 4 Yellowtail chromis. I’m looking at adding at least one SPS.
Total water volume is 55-60 gallons, 58lbs of rock, 2 AI VEGAS, Skimmer(off line for now waiting to get readings on Nitrate and Phosphorus. It’s been 4 weeks with fish and nothing. They are only hungry for a cube of brine shrimp twice a day.), chaeto, Candy Cane Coral, 2 Frogspawn Coral, GPS, 2 Acans, several mushrooms, 4 Yellowtail chromis.

March 19, 2019 3 new heads and two of those are going to split again.
