Flippers reef 125 gallon

The aptasia is non existent in my system. But as we all know, once there is one, there will be others unseen, some where.

The more concerning issue was the majano's. Had about a dozen in the system till I killed them off. The 6 I went after were ones that I couldnt easily get to. I had to make a luer lock needle out of small gauge ss tubing at work and sharpen the end. Nice and short allowed me to maneuver around in tight spaces.

I got two mollie miller blennies. In the past, they have eaten aptasia for me. We will see if they get the two I can see.

Tank is looking fantastic!

Thank you!

I too am trying to stay ahead of mine. Havent tried a natural (livestock) option yet. But the aipx by red sea is worth the work. I never see one come back I have hit with it. Just tough to find, locate, and reach some of the ones that settle in the back of the rock work.

Thankfully the hinging canopy I made just flips up and I cut the circulation and they are mush easier to spot from above. Such little P.i.t.a.'s

Not a good picture, but they both have good color.

Looks nice, Don

I'd like to track your Fire Digitata... :)

Thanks Freddie! I have a orange digi that's was getting killed by montipora cap and hasn't grown much. Saved it during the reset. We'll see if it will come back.

This one is going some where safe to let it grow. Should be a looker when a colony.

WOW @Flippers4pups ! You have a amazing 125g ! I absolutely love your build. Very nice and very well thought out , love the 125g sump as well. I am hoping I can get approval from my wife to hopefully start a 125 g as well , but ill be using a 75g as a sump is my plane. Very well done !
