Hi everybody
I have bought one red flower pot coral last week from store. The other one of this coral at the store are open now and show good health despite of bad environment of tank at the store, but mine is still closed in my good condition reef tank that all of my coral are happy and healthy.after water change As usual I deeped this coral with medicoral at entrance to my tank and put it on the sand bed of tank to sure light compatibility. at the first and second day flower pot was closed and only color of tip of polyps are visible. But at night polyps opens about 5 millimeter and when morning light of tank switched on, polyps closed until to night. So at the third day , I deiced put the coral in shadow of rock. At this condition coral was open same as night and polyps reached 7 or 8 millimeter length, but after one week this coral is at the same condition of third day. now I want to know what can I do for good opening of this coral?

Welcome to R2R I think you leave the new corals down low and acclimate these new guys for a week to the lights, As you stated the take was in sad shape and I would guess the lighting was too.
