Oh yours have septas in the cap but no hole? I didn’t even think to check that but I will tonight.

My new septas are thicker too but worked fine. I put the PTFE side facing up.

So far I’ve sourced everything but those needles! Hard to believe they are custom made for this.

here is the hoses keep in mind those they are 1M so you need to order 6 qty not sure maybe they will cut it for you 2M x 3 hoses don't hurt to ask. I got the ones from Amazon and they work as well.

I measured 60mm as well, assuming you measure from the base of the needle to tip.

I have no idea how to determine gauge.

I thought I saw someone say in this thread they aren’t a standard of the shelf needle, but that is still really hard to believe… like why would you design it that way? … to sell $9 needles I guess :)

Well I had a lengthy conversation with one of the reps in bulkreef this morning. They said when most of the parts once gone will not be restocked or sold at bulkreef especially the hoses. This is very bad news indeed. This means the parts here will be very hard if not impossible to find in USA.

I stocked up on needles from CoralVue while they still have them. I think I have sourced everything else except the actuator, which I've heard is garbage and goes out after 1000-1500 tests or so.

I'm having problems getting accurate results from my MT anyway, not sure yet if I'll even keep it.

Well I did some tests with calibration reference fluid it was off on all of the test but not by a lot. I did the baseline configuration and now its pretty dead on. Maybe we can get a list of all sourced items in one reply? lol. I am working with manufacturer with needles. Yes, I heard the actuator goes 1000-1500 tests as well.

This is Actuator Mastertronic Specs:

  • Backdrive Force (N): 45
  • Closed Hole to Hole (mm): 102
  • Control: P
  • Gear Ratio: 210
  • Life: Standard
  • Maximum Load (N): 80
  • Model: L12
  • No Load Speed (mm/s): 6.5
  • Peak Efficiency Load (N): 36
  • Stroke Length (mm): 50
  • Voltage (VDC): 12
  • Weight (grams): 40
The One I mentioned Above:

Maximum Load:70
No Load Speed: 8

So not the same but I wonder if it would work. The speed maybe a issue not sure. However, it's only like $18.00 compared to $80, lol

If/when mine breaks, I would definitely give one of these a shot for $18

I have kept a complete list in my notes that I could clean up and post.

Let us know how your needle inquiry turns out. I just bought a couple packs from Coralvue before they run out.

Is BRS now going to be the sole distribution of Focustronic?
That’s how I understood it, yet people are now reporting that BRS told them they will not be restocking Focustronic parts. Focustronic support is still directing people there. Its a clown show. They need to improve the business side of things.

I keep getting "code 3 - check pump C" on my Alkatronic. Anyone know what this means. I checked the manual. Anyone else have this issue and what was the fix? (Do I need to change the hoses:?) Is there a list of hoses I can get outside of the manufacturer because no one has them. Thanks for the help in advance.
