HI yall, hope you had a great weekend. Next question in my series of questions regarding this tank I recently acquired, the previous owner would use the following foods:

- Omega One Small Veggie Kelp Pellets
- Hikari Frozen Brine Shrimp

The tank contains 6 fish (2 clowns, 2 bluefin damsels, 1 banggai cardinal, 1 blennie), 1 shrimp, 1 urchin, some hermit crabs, and 6 or soft various softies.

I feek like the above is pretty sub-par, and would like to transition to a better diet, ideal with fewer than 10 different elements lol.

Looking forward to reading you, thanks!

I feed reef frenzy most often, this is clams, shrimps, fish, seaweed, and so much more, all blended up and frozen, its all the stuff fish love.

I mix it up with frozen mysis and PE pellets (or some other high quality pellet).

I feed 3-4 times per day.

I believe a quality dry food as a staple is extremely important so that if needed you can easily set up an auto-feeder if and when you need to leave your tank unattended for travel, vacation, emergencies etc. Frozen is great, but not compatible with (most) auto feeders, so if your fish only want to eat frozen, you may run into problems in the future. These are the foods I use with success:

Ocean Nutrition Formula 1 (more animal protein based): https://amzn.to/4fQm2j4
Ocean Nutrition Formula 2 (higher concentration of algae content): https://amzn.to/4eFO7Zk
