I have been mixing about 5-7 days worth of frozen food with tank water and Vitality and using a syringe to feed it to my fish. Recently I have been told that it's not good to keep frozen food for that long. So I'm curious how if I am only going to make enough food for 3 days (and I feed pellets every other day) should I make my food? I am also curious about how to strain the frozen food to help the vitality not just get washed away with the excess water. I have frozen krill cubes, Carnivore diet cubes, emerald entree cubes (herbivore) and brine shrimp cubes.

I break off a piece of the frozen food enough for two or three days and place it in a cup without water. I then use tweezers to place it in the tank at feeding time. I always thought soaking in tank water would water the food and nutrients in the food down?
