I have spent the last few months looking into a Hydroponic tray style frag setup....And then this popped up for sale on a local Facebook group....

Demensions are:

72 x 18 x 29 I think

Came with a stand, Trigger Systems Ruby 36 Sump and some misc plumbing.

Currently I have it in an out of the way area while I clean it, and finish the tear down the previous owner half done. He has an awesome new tank sitting empty, so I would have torn this one down just as fast really...But I guess I am all in now!

Next step is to slowly plumb it, and get it cycling. Got new bulkheads on the way, with some pretty pipes to go with them.

Taking my time, working on dry fitting the drains. Rather than match the Ruby sumps Red colors, I am going with a mix of colors that will look cool under the red spectrum fuge lights.

Going to go with a Vectra L1 as my return, a little overkill, better to be able to tune down, than not have enough I suppose.

QUESTION TIME!!!!!
To hard plumb will need 1" PVC....My return bulkhead size is 1/2"...I am thinking of reducing the pipe diameter down from 1" to 1/2" at the T junction RIGHT at the center of the tank/stands center brace. Hoping to model my reactor manifold off @Broadfield s awesome setup, and it finish right as the center point.

The goal is to help keep pressure the same directly when it forks to each overflows return...and also fit my tiny bulkheads compared to the L1 return pump.

Solid plan????

MUCH NEEDED UPDATE!

I have been working on my super detailed frag system. We had a local reefer crack his brand new 110 they were drilling. I sold him this 150 in a pinch at a steal to keep them in the hobby. Karma paid me back with a 93g Cube I will be building instead. Thread coming soon.
