Some hydraulics in your couch so you can elevate it while viewing the tank.
The technology does exist

Solution...get Reefis. My desk is right next to my tank and the lights sit up much higher than where I sit. Any glare would be very annoying. Reefis have 0 glare. My 6 Reefi Unos..

Why anyone is telling you to simply replace $400+ lights with other options is ridiculous!
Check out this option: eelrivercoral.com/products/xr15-light-shade

I had this in my shopping cart then it went on backorder... I decided I wanted to get the diffuser either way, and for 20$ it helped reduce my glare significantly enough, to the point that I wont be getting the light shade after all.

Pic below has the diffuser... I’m about 8-9’ away, sits 6’ left of My TV, so it was important to me not to be pegged in the eyes by the XR15 Pro diodes!

Totally understand. Probably not practical for most to replace their Radions. May be of some help to those researching before their purchase.

I tell you what also is ridiculous... all of the accessories needed for Radions. $104 for the mount, $23 for the diffuser and another $40 to knock out the glare. So now your almost at $600 for a light that will take care of 18" x 18". Im @ ~$30 for my mounts and done.. Or 50% of the cost of the Radion and 80% more power. Look at the heatsink on these guys..

Now look at the Radions...lol

There is only a ~$100 difference in price between the two if comparing the combo of light+mount, and less if you only compare light 2 light. Most would claim Radion to be the gold standard in the LED lighting world. 25% difference in cost... 15% difference if reviewing lights only...

Accessories are optional, and subjective as to their form and function. Heatsink comparison is sort of laughable. Does the ReeFi have a BIGGER & BETTER heatsink, or has Radion figured out a way to be more minimalistic with greater results than the competition?

With more knowledge out there, it makes it easier for everyone to make their own choices. In this case though, the OP wants suggestions to remedy his problem with glare and not with dropping 1500$ + in buying a so called comparable setup that will STILL have the glare in his/her situation.

I will say that your 6 Uno setup is rather nice.. your whole setup looks pretty legit!

On my tanks in my tank racks, I had the same problem. What I did was just bend my mounts to just slightly tip the light aiming back just a little. Made a huge difference, my first choice would be the shades, which I will do on my new SW setup.

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
